Uncubed, which was founded in Brooklyn in 2012, is coming home again, at least for a week. Now headquartered in Manhattan’s Chinatown, Uncubed is an event- and video-based job platform where employers upload classes about what it’s actually like to work at their companies in an effort to attract top talent. This coming week the company will have a two-part skills-and-jobs conference in Brooklyn called NYC Uncubed.
The first is called Skill Talks and takes place Mon., Nov. 6, from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Wythe Hotel and Brooklyn Bowl. Founders, VPs, CTOs and other leaders will offer a behind-the-scenes look into the challenges they’re facing and how they’re working to solve them, plus the digital skills you’ll need to join their teams, the organizers say.

Uncubed draws both tech talent and major employers
The second event, a job fair, happens Thurs., Nov. 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Industry City in Sunset Park. Participants will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with representatives of innovative, fast-growing companies. Beer, music and other attractions will be served up.
